This is my final selling event of the year and I'm really looking forward to it. Do come along and have a mince pie and glass of mulled wine on Friday evening. It's a great opportunity to meet artists and designers and perhaps purchase something beautiful and handmade for Christmas (or yourself!). The perfect antidote to Black Friday, mass production and panic-buying!

All Stations Go!

All Stations Go! was the second event organised by Three Peaks Arts (of which I am a founder member) and it took place over three railway stations: Settle, Horton-in-Ribblesdale and Ribblehead. With the much appreciated support of Stories in Stone, The Settle Carlisle Railway Trust and Northern Rail, Three Peaks Arts organised an exhibition at each station, 12 workshops and drop-in activities. The photographs above are from my two 'Stamp-making for Vintage Luggage Tags' workshops and the exhibition at Horton Station.

Following the sad news that Art Parade in Saltaire and the Alverton Gallery in Penzance are closing, I am delighted to now be supplying the rather lovely Old School Gallery in Muker. Polly and Richard offer a beautiful collection of paintings, prints, photography, ceramics, textiles and jewellery for sale and you can get coffee and cake too! Muker is a real gem of a place in Swaledale and I spent a lovely afternoon there after delivering my prints. Click HERE to read The Old School Gallery's blogpost.

After a successful time at Huddersfield Art Gallery, the New Light Prize Exhibition is on the move to the wonderful Bankside Gallery on Thameside in London. This gallery is renowned for having excellent print and painting exhibitions and I'm delighted that my large-scale monotype, Meadowsweet, will be on display there as part of the show. The show has a short run so don't miss it! 27th June - 1st july 2018. The gallery will be open daily from 11am - 6pm during the show.

Latest News Re: 'Within These Walls'

I've just had some excellent news, I recently got the go ahead to print another of my 4metre long collagraph print that I featured in my 2017 installation 'Within These Walls'. It is going to be bought for permanent public display in Alingsås hospital in Sweden!

I worked on the project at Ålgården Printmaking Studio last year and was fortunate to have two of my large-scale reductive monotypes bought for display in the same hospital. Whilst discussing my project, it was suggested that the collagraph would be perfect for the pillar in the reception area but as I hadn't actually made it, it was all a bit uncertain. It is hard to photograph such a large work so I rolled it up and took it with me when I went to the studio this year. Due to the height of the studio and the mezzanine floor, I was able to peg it to the light fittings to show Torbjörn Damm (who works for the region buying public art). He was keen, the price was right and he went off to measure the space. The following day I got the go ahead and I'll be making one specifically for the hospital!
